EDGE - Enabling A Secure Future | Corporate and Cluster Videos
This was an amazing opportunity as a Freelance Creative Director to work for the UAE's first Defence Conglomerate, EDGE. It is a holding company that consists of 25+ high end technology partners across clusters such as Missiles & Weapons, Platforms & Systems, Mission Support, Cyber Defence and Electronic Warfare & Intelligence. I was the Creative Project Lead, leading up to the launch of the brand on the 5th of November 2019 at the Dubai Airshow. It was a hectic job just as you'd expect from most Govt. projects because of all the technical aspects involved as well as the multi-layered approval process. The videos were put together from stock libraries, UAE military footage, CGI assets and from shoots we organized.
I worked with a fantastic freelance team consisting of a project manager, post producer, editors, writers and an animation studio to deliver the project. It helped me learn a lot about the work flow, client relations and most definitely helped me mature as a creative. It was an amazing learning experience working for a unique sector that involved some intense scrutiny and attention to detail while putting together a powerful storyline for a brand of the future.
