A prototype (proactive) project for the Dubai Foundation for women and children. This is a doll that working mothers in Dubai can record their voices into and leave them with their young children who are usually at home alone with the nannies and can be potential victims of sexual abuse. Research shows that children are abused by people they usually know and are friendly towards, the school bus drivers, friends of house maids etc. and are unaware of such behavior or might be afraid to speak out in case of an incident. The Mini Mom dolls are customizable with re-recordable messages that the mothers can leave for their children in their mother tongues as Dubai is home to almost 200 nationalities. This doll is useful for the mothers as an edutainment toy in case their child is going out to the park, on a school picnic or if they happen to experience an inappropriate touch.
