This piece is truly a product of joy and hard work. The original brief from the client was for a premium leather bound New Year's diary. I decided to not do that and turned the brief on its head with my team and conceptualized the 'Book of Joy'. A journal that evoked happiness and joy all year round with something new to look forward to every day of the week, month and month, and document your life as the year rolled by. It was filled with fun, inspiring and quirky quotes and brilliant illustrations that the in-house art directors and designers put together. The result of 2 weeks of back breaking work was 1 Bronze and 1 Finalist at the Dubai Lynx 2014.
